On 30^th November and 1^st December, 2023, African Woman and Child Feature Service with the support of UN Women conducted a capacity enhancement workshop for communication focal persons in-charge of the communication stuff of women political leaders.  The focal persons trained are attached to women political leaders from Kwale, Nakuru, Mombasa, Kisumu, Kisii, Nairobi, Embu, Kiambu, Kirinyaga and Homa Bay counties.

The objectives of the capacity enhancement workshop were:

• To appreciate strategic communication, messaging, and development of communication plans aimed at increasing the visibility and marketability of women political leaders.
• To enhance the strategic communication and media skills of focal persons and support systems of women political leaders.
